I'm really looking forward to my Blue Star 36" with grill and when I talked to the man at the appliance store about ventillation he pointed me in the direction of the Vent A Hood liner which is only 19" deep, but 40" wide and cfm of 600 (900 VAH calculations).

Is this really enough if I have a grill?? I'm inserting this into a faux chimney/mantle thingy that the contractor will build, so.. would it help if the VAH was installed more over the front of the range where the bigger burners are? Is this VAH adequate for what I will have??
