Spring/Easter Vignette on small end table

Here's a few photos of my Spring/Easter vignette on my small "end" table.

"Tea for Two", I love the little square sugars, when I was little I used to swipe them and eat them like candy.

    Judith...
    very beautiful!!! I love it.
More pictures for my inspirational file. As always you have outdone yourself...:)

Judith, You have made a very elegant table vignette. I really love every single piece you have on your table, but especially the little nest. Don't you just love the light green candles out this year! Thank you for sharing your table with us.

Judith, that whole vignette just makes me want to linger there . It is serene and yet joyously spring at the same time .
Sandi , I agree , I really like the light green candles too. Kareen

Lovely, lovely! Have to keep looking at it. What is the sugar holder, a little rose cup or dish??? Thank you!

Thanks everyone, I had fun doing it.

Kathleen, the sugar holder is actually a voltive candle holder, I bought a few of them a few weeks ago from Marshalls. I will also use them as salt cellars, basically I can use them for anything that is small enough to be held in them.
The candlestick is from Walmart, and of course the green cabbage plate is from Marshalls or TJ Max (they both carry these dishes)
I'm very fond of nests too and birds in general, I purchased a couple of these at my local garden center.
Yes, I love the light green candles too, this pillar candle was from the dollar store this weekend. I needed a light green to pull the light green in the hydrangias behind the bunny.
Tam, I thought you'd like the 2 tone of the vignette LOL, actually I started out planning on doing everything in just the cream/white, but well, it went in the direction that it wanted to go in. LOL

Very nice Judith, soooo pretty. Me too, love that little birds nest with eggs. You made me run and get out this birdhouse decoration on a small pole with flowers climbing up it. I'll figure out where to put it later.

Ohhhh Judith, what you can do with a little table is absolutely amazing! My heart is yearning to do spring-like decorations, but i'm in the process of paring down and packing up~hope to have my home on the market by the end of April.

I'll have to live vicarioulsy thru you and everyone else, until I 'light in a new nest'. ;o)

craftylady, thank you. I love bird house decorations too, your new birdhouse purchase would make a very pretty vignette or table centerpiece. I have a Christmas birdhouse on a pole too and used it as part of a vignette a few years ago.

pattycakes, you must have posted when I was writing my reply LOL.
Thank you. Gosh, I am sure you are very excited to be moving to a new home. I moved alot in my life, part of me misses it alot, I guess it is in my blood..LOL

But, once you get your new "nest" we are wanting pictures.!!!

Judith, Villeroy and Boch had these adorable little birdhouse candle hoders in the basement where we peasants shop. I almost bought 2. One was octagonal, but none to match. They were made of tin. Maybe I will go back to see if they still have them or even reduced them more.

Judith, very pretty table. Some of my favorite things on there. The apothecary jar-are those roses in there? The nest and most of all the rabbit. Would you mind sharing where you found him? I once found a really beautiful large rabbit holding a bouquet of flowers at a Hallmark shop. They wanted eighty dollars for it. That was just too much. Sure wish I could find one like that or like yours again. I just haven't seen anything that nice ever since.

Another gorgeous vignette AND another gorgeous bunny! Love him! ;o) Just think, once you finish your cake decorating class you will be able to make little flowers on your sugar cubes--those always look so cute. Luvs

Judith, once again you have wowed us! I can't get over the things you use that I got rid of. I used to be a crafter & just in the last two years sold off most of my supplies & BIRD NESTS!!!!! SCREAM!

Well, now I'll be out at yard sales buying those things back again!!!
DH will want to strangle me, the basement is finally neat & clean!

GORGEOUS as usual, Judith. I'm drooling over that huge, fabulous rabbit. Never saw one like that. You have me really wanting to get started playing with my grandmother's little table in my formal dining area.
As for birdnests, I had to laugh when I was buying the two in Michaels today! I've got 4 or 5 wonderful REAL birdnests, including a hummingbird one, that I'd saved when blown from trees the past few years. They are so lovely and so well done, just amazing how birds can do this. But can just see myself putting a real one within Brat Cat's nose. That would be asking for trouble big time. So they are safely on a shelf in a cat-free room. Darn, be nice to decorate with them.

Kathleen, I do love that store too, I did go in there 2 weeks ago, just to look, I usually head to the back where the "sale" stuff is, but no luck for me! That is one beautfiul store....

cyberdancer, thank you. I purchased the rabbit at a place called the Mole Hole. They only had one, and I just had to have him (but I will be eating peanut butter for a while....)
Yes, I think they are a "open" style of rose (bought at Michaels), here is a close up for you (one of the many pics I took, but I didn't post cause it would be way boring to look at all my "practice pictures" LOL

Luvs, thank you. I know what you mean about decorating the sugar cubes, I have seen them in a few magazines and they are so cute.

Yachter, LOL, I know what you mean, as soon as I get rid of something I find that I NEED it later and just want to kick myself!

karen, you are right, real birds nests are a small engineering miracle of nature! And yes, they would probably just torture your kitties LOL, I can just picture them batting them around like volleyballs LOL My dog would just simply tear them to shreads (even the fake ones if he could reach them) he is a stinker...

    Thank you, Judith

That rabbit is definetly worth having to eat peanut butter for. Just beautiful.

Your pictures are never boring. The more the merrier. Very nice arrangement in the jar. Thanks for the close-up.

Judith.....just love your vignette! I like everything! The large bunny is adorable and it has been ages since I have been in a Mole Hole store. They have a lot of nice things. Hmmm..maybe time to look one up again!!

mary, thank you. Yes, that Mole Hole is fun, but dangerous to the pocketbook!!!

Judith, nothing is more dangerous to the pocketbook than this forum, and you!!!! ROFLMAO

My ex was from Minneapolis where the flagship store first opened at least 30 years ago. The store in SD closed years ago, and how I miss shopping there at Christmas!!

I still have a pretty nightlight my MIL bought me many moons ago.

Where did the beautiful white platter come from, Judy? I have a collection of 'whites' and I can see that as a new 'addition'. LOL ;o)

Karen, LOLOLOLOL, Aw come on, everywhere else I send you guys is affordable....just stay out of the Mole Hole! LOL Believe me I haven't gone back there since I had to "give up my first born" for the big bunny.

Patty cakes, I bought that white platter at Marshalls about 4 months or so ago. In fact I bought 3, hopeing to find a 4th at another Marshalls to use as a table setting "charger" but no luck, so now I have two "spares", hopefully they will come back in so I can get my 4th one.
