Sandi, I think you should get in touch with Luvs over at the Tole Painting Forum. She posted that she cut out and made one and it reminded me of the one I painted in a class (all pre-cut by teachers DH). It has been over 10 years since I made mine but there are instructions out there somewhere.

Minnie and I like the same bunny. I've wanted to paint him for a long time, finally have more time now that I have retired.

My pattern is for a jar lid, but I didn't do that with this one. I enlarged the pattern so I could hang it on my lamppost in the front yard. Thinking about adding a little sign with it saying "Happy Easter" or "Easter Greetings". It could also just be attached to a wooden stake and used in the flowerbed.

To fit on a jar, you just cut a wooden circle to go on the back so it will stay on the jar. Those sort of fishbowl shaped jars used to be really popular for these jar lids.

Luvs, I saw your bunny on the painting forum and told you how much I love him. And I really loved his eyelashes. I think I have to copy you and Minnie and make one of those little bunnies. They are just so cute. And I think a sign would look really good with your bunny hanging on your lamppost.
