My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.
A few tablesettings to enjoy. Also some linens, dishes, etc. If anyone has seen the colored handle flatware at good prices please let me know. I would love to have a couple of different colors.
Sandi, those were fun to see. Was surprised that the Fall one featured tulips! Some pretty linens and dishes there.
Yesterday at the swap meet, there was a booth with lots of the colored handle flatware. I was looking for the clear ones, but didn't find them. I know Target usually has some colored handle ones, although not a large selection. I'll watch for it when I am out and about and let you know if I find a source.
Luvs, Thanks for keeping me in mind on the colored flatware. Old Time Pottery has several different colors, but I don't think they had the clear and they didn't have the other colors I need. Walmart has some. And I haven't thought to look at Target, but I will.
Sandi, now that you mentioned colored handled flatware, you jogged my memory, I just saw some, but the only place I've been was Hobby Lobby & they don't have it, so it must have been online somewhere. Might have been smart bargains, but not sure. I hate that when you can't think of where you saw something, it will come to me & then I'll post. (hopefully)!!
Sandi, I think you can purchase the colored handle flatware at Walmart. Not so sure if you can purchase it by separate pieces in different colors though.
Yachter, Thank you. I'll check smart bargains out. And I'm famous for not remembering where I saw something. LOL Can you believe the prices on the flatware at that site? I wouldn't be able to afford the dishes or food. ;~)
Sal, Walmart hasn't had the colors I want so far. I don't want separate pieces in different colors, but I do want about 4 complete sets, one each in a different color. Did I say that right?
Target has some different colored flatware. Turquoise, red, black, and at one time yellow. Right now my Target only has the first 3. They are sold in sets of 4 placesettings. Horchow, has colored silverware, but they are pricy!
Judith, Thank you. Red & yellow are two of the colors I want so I'll check Target often. I'm still looking for the black and white checked. I may have to break down and buy the solid black.
sandi, I think I got my clear ones at Walmart, or could have even been Kmart I have clear, white, blue,gold/silver, and everyday silver ones. I would like some green ones, a lighter green I think.
Mary, Thanks. I never even remember that we have a K-Mart here. I should check there once in a while. Old Time Pottery has the light green. I don't remember seeing the light green anyplace else.
