We are newly weds and recently purchased this home. It is in serious need of an exterior up date. The house is dated and needs a new roof and siding, yard, and we are also planning to add a garage or pole bulding in the next few years. I like the look of redwood or actual wood siding like the example house I attatched, however my hubby who is also a contractor refuses to use real wood since we live in Michigan and have rough winters and also because of the upkeep of real wood. We have installed new Anderson windows that are terratone in color on the exterior. My husband likes the terracotta colored vinyl siding I attatched. But I am open to any suggestions!? We have removed a lot of trees in the front yard since taking this pic to open it up (grass wouldn't grow since it was soo shaded) I would love to keep the house feeling modern. The interior renovation is coming along nicely and I am excited to start the exterior. Thanks in advance for your suggestions.
