Need style advice please

I'm horrible at putting something cohesive together and I'm afraid of making some mistakes on our current bathroom project. We currently have a bathroom with a single white pedestal sink, white cabinets, barely off white walls, light creamy/pink tile and a white acrylic shower. All the fixtures are chrome: hooks, shower trim kit, TP holder, towel bars, faucets, etc. But we're replacing the pedestal sink with this vanity and matching mirror:

My question is about the vanity lighting. Currently there's a three bulb chrome fixture. I'd like to move it to another bathroom and put up two single bulb fixtures instead. But considering the width of that mirror I think they'd need to go above it (right over each bowl) rather than to each side - would that be odd? Would it be better/worse to have another 3 bulb fixture in the center instead? Also, should we stick with chrome or could/should they be a dark color because of the dark vanity and shelf? One that my DW really liked:

Would that work? They have the same style in singles, but they're only 50W, so maybe not enough light.

I hope the questions make sense, it's late.

Thanks!
