SusieRose, that's the perfect frame for your grandmother's photo. And she reminds me so much of my own g.m. too.

that's got to be the most colorful pair of shoes I've seen, LOL. Are you putting them on your porch when planted?
I think they are a hoot.

hugs, Karen

SusieRose, those boots are amazing. At first, I thought you had painted them--I've never seen any like them. They will look good with some greenery cascading out of them.

Isn't it wonderful when we have old pictures like the one of your Gma on the porch. Gosh, I still think those chairs are just the greatest things! Wish I had some of them. I have several old family pictures too. A favorite one is of DH's great Grandfather sitting in an old rocking chair--we kept the chair after DH's Gma passed on and it is in my "guest" bedroom.

Not sure why the camera (Crazy Digital Kodak Monster) put a blue spot on the shoe toe. Those are Dr. Martin boots!!! Somebodies mommie paid around $50. (so I was told) for them. It is not beyound me to display a floral arrangement in those shoes and put them on the table!!!! Shock value. Tabo line crossed. However, that table, may be the glass and iron table setting on the back porch.

Back porch table.

Susi, those Doc Martens probably cost more than that! I noticed these once in a store and thought they were more of a decor item than shoes! Just didn't know what type. Good to see you repurpose them with a useful item. We want to see photos of that table.

Nice pic of your Gma, how special it must be to you. Cute colourful boots, - yes, Doc Martens probably cost more than $50 - good idea to use them as planters. I LOVE your glass/iron table!! It is beautiful. Don't tell me that you got that at a garage sale or freecycle!???
