dust vac?

Vacuuming would probably take away the biggest part, then wipe down with a few dry microfiber cloths for the rest. They sell microfiber dust mops that have telescopic handles which might do the trick.

I'm surprised that the builder doesn't hire a special cleanup crew after completing a house and before new clients move in, in your parts.

Here, my husband builds homes for several builders and the clean up is done by hired crews. These crews are specialty cleanup specifically for builders. It's a bummer that you have to do this yourself especially since you've just come out of hospital

when the builder was done the house was imaculate....he did have it cleaned...this seems to have settled since. around us we have two more houses going up so the dust around here is off the scales...lol. it is construction dust mixed with dirt....lol. that was why the wiping didnt work...i may try the microfiber on the extension...thanks. i dont think i will be able to vacume these high walls and ceilings. thanks....i may also look into having a crew come in....
