With a new oven, you should be complaining to the folks you bought the oven from and/or the manufacturer.

Something is wrong with the oven if the between the glass is dirty after only the first use.

You should be able to make as big of a mess as possible inside your oven and between the glass would stay clean as new.

Thanks gammyt. I did call the place I bought it from, they've been great. Truth is, I love this oven but we've had issues ever since it was installed. This is the first mechanical issue.

When the oven was delivered it was completely bowed (damaged from freight??). Anyhow, appliance guy sent out a replacement right away. When we got the replacement, we noticed the inside racks were totally unlevel (by about an inch). Somehow in manufacturing, they installed the gliders upside down on the left side. My appliance guy sent us new gliders and guess what?? They sent the wrong side. So now I have three gliders sets for the right, and none for the left. I was still waiting for this issue to be resolved when the glass issue happened last night. Kind of funny actually.

Anyone reading this who is considering purchasing this oven, I think I am just having a unique manufacturing issue. The oven itself I love. Just wish I could get one that was made right. :)

Check and see if you have any opening at the bottom of your oven door. If so, see the link below...the "Big Q-Tip" method worked for me!

mcleashg, thank you! I will see if I have the slats tonight. Hopefully it works. You'd think oven manufacturers would have fixed this issue with all these problems. It seems to be universal. ;)

The best way to clean the oven door glass on an Electrolux wall oven is to remove the door (easy) and then remove the two screws holding handle. Then you can slide out the 3 panels of glass for easy cleaning. Use LAVA bar soap to clean the glass, nothing else will cut the grease and grime. Easy, do not call a tech to do this.
