did some Easter decorating

I managed to get some Easter decorating done, in spite of my back and legs rebelling at every step I've been taking. The first 8 photos in the album are the Easter ones.

Great job on your stacked plates Karen, I really like them. Love all your chocolate bunnies and the cute trees too.
I've been procrastinating and haven't pulled all my stuff out yet. I'd better get with it! LOL

Stacked plate queen! It all looks great, Karen, so Springy!
    Hope you are feeling better!

Wow again Karen! It all looks great. I love the faux chocolate bunnies, but my favorite are the large Easter trees. I have several trees in urns that I use for Christmas and I have a couple of year round pines too that I left out this year to decorate. However, mine seem to screem Christmas even with the other decor. Yours look great. I'm sorry you are feeling bad. I seem to remember that you have fibro and I know the pain! Take care of yourself and enjoy your pretty decor.

    Karen,

I love your designs in the cloche jars. I want to do something a lot like that in a miniature wooden greenhouse I just bought. Guess I'll have to do more shopping--I need some sweet bunnies like you have and your miniature bouquets.

All your Easter decorations are lovely.

p.s. I hope you've looked into alternative (natural) treatments for your fibro...

So many pretty decorations Karen. I especially love your stacked plates, and I don't want to leave out all those adorable Bunnies.. I must say, though, that I really enjoy seeing your cloche displays for each of the Holidays..

Hope you feel better. I can relate to your pain...I've got Lupus, and it's a real bummer. Take care.

Karen, every thing looks lovely, as always. You do such nice work. I've done nothing so far. I told hubby today, that I really need to decorate the tree for Easter.

The faux chocolate bunnies look so real! I will have a look at the Foirfouille (our "Michaels" style store but more expensive); maybe they have some like those.

Also really like those rabbits, they have a "carrousel" look that I really enjoy! As for those eggs on the stacked plates, well, what are they made out of? It looks like porcelain or something like this (biscuit)?

My goodness. They look like real chocolate bunnies. I love them. Are the chocolate eggs faux as well? They look delicious.

Prosperity, you're so right about the carrousel bunnies. That's just exactly what I thought when I saw them. Instantly reminded me of a merry-go-round.

Purplemoon, nice job on the stacked plates. Guess you aren't letting the pain get the best of you. You're ready for Easter Week.

Karen, thanks for sharing your Easter/spring vignettes. You have done a wonderful job decorating, especially considering you are in pain! Now, that is the sign of a true "seasonal decorator" - nothing can stop her! I really like how you did the cloche with the little bunny from your DGD - so cute and special!

Your decorations are beautiful! I love the cloche with the bright colors...too cute!
But there is nary a doglet in sight :^(
I hope you are in less pain this week!
    Easter Blessings to you,

jaybird, there is actually a whippet statue on the bathroom counter, LOL. A big laying one. Plus artwork all over the bathroom walls.

DD, the bunny was from my adopted 8 yr old niece. She sent me some more bunnies for my b.d. and they are wonderful too.
She saves her coins, goes thrift shopping, and finds me the neatest bunnies! She's a doll.

Yes, the Jim Shore rabbits do have a carousel look, which is why I fell in love with them. He does reindeer in this style also. I have two of them so far. Its his Heartwood Creek Collection. For my b.d., my best friend sent me a March angel who's holding my birth stone. Aquamarine.
If you've never seen the Heartwood Creek collectibles, you should browse google or even eBay and see them. I love them. Tho only the reindeer and these rabbits are carousel type on the poles.

All my easter eggs came from Michaels, last year's after Easter sale. I got one pack of the little faux chocolate eggs that are with the rabbits, then got a few of the bigger individual chocolate eggs that look painted. Those two are on my stacked plates.
Prosp, the eggs you asked about are plastic and yet done so nicely.

After looking at my own photo of the stacked plates, I realized I'd totally forgotten to put the lavender "grass" I bought on the little top plate under the chicks! So it looks bare compared to the bottom two. Arrgghh!

So yes, OA, the Fibro IS getting the best of me. I've been a real mess. Brain Fog to go with the terrible pain. I'm not much fun lately, LOL.

Felecia, I'm sorry as it sounds like you have it also.
And Jane...lupus...that has to be far worse to deal with.
I'm terribly sorry for what you go thru.
