vinegar helps....and I have heard that salt does too.
I also know that fabric softener will knock down the suds...but don't know how hard that would be to clean up.
Maybe start with the fabric softener and end with vinegar?
Ewww! What a mess! I will try to remember to do that over the sink!

I agree, sprinkle it with salt. That will keep it from sudsing up.

I know this is a long shot because this was 2006 i see but what helped i keep all my dogs items in one cabinet i left it open for one minute and she spilt her dog shampoo i noticed about 10 hrs later and its a brand new cabinet please help aspa

Paper towels....lots of them and water and more paper towels!

First if you can let it dry, do that. it doesn’t take long for it to dry into a gel. You can use a scrapper or even a spatula to clean up the biggest portion. Then you can mix a cap full of Downey fabric softener in mop water and this will clean and breakdown the Dawn. The downey will take away the sticky, and leave your room smelling amazing.

since it spilled in 2006, I'd guess it's cleaned up by now.
