I second this call -- I spilled a cup of coffee on my couch last night. I tried a little water and a sponge and it's still there. Grrr.

You can use plain laundry detergent to clean and freshen up your upholstery. Plain means it contains no bleach, softeners or other similar additives. To make the cleaning solution, pour a quarter cup of laundry detergent and one cup of warm water into a deep container.

While this won't help with large clean-ups, I have found that the Tide To Go sticks do a fabulous job of getting rid of small stains. I live alone and eat a lot of my meals on my couch in front of the sofa. All of my 'oops' have been removed with the Tide To Go and have not left any circles or water marks.

I agree with the Tide To Go recommendation. I had an old water ring stain on my living room couch cushion. I had got out the stain (maybe ballpoint ink?) years ago but the ring remained. I bought a Tide To Go Stick and tried it, with great results!

Spot Shot is a great product !!
I have also made a paste from Oxyclean...works great and will not damage your upholstery. I even use it on my microfiber chair.
Try either or both tips. You will be impressed, I promise.
