I love these Tabarka Tiles. I think that you could do a solid quartzite or any granite that matches. I think either or will make a really nice kitchen design! :)

Tabarka tiles are previously sealed, it is not necessary to reseal them previous to grouting. They are recommended for interior use only. Do seal the grout after installation or use a grout with a sealer additive for ease of maintenance. Clean with a damp mop and mild soap. On walls you may clean with Blem or Murphy's Soap Oil, stay away from abrasive cleaners.

Yes, same tile in the plain crema. You can Checkerboard the whole back splash or accent the stove backsplash with only decos and only a row in the rest of the backsplash.

A soapstone countertop would look good especially after it's been treated with mineral oil. Soapstone varies between greenish casts and light to dark gray.

We used the Tabarka tiles in a kitchen remodel. I LOVE them. Wish my kitchen was larger with more backsplash area! We used Taj Majal quartzite for the counters. Job still in process, but here's a photo
