Here I am!! I have been volunteered :^) to plan a party for DH's Sunday school class...couples, from 65 to 85 years old! They are so sweet, but it is hard to plan for them! Here is my idea, see what you can do to embroider it a bit for me...y'all are sooooo good!

Since it will be the 27th of June, I thought about a "Midsummer Night's Dream" theme, with fancy invitations, and flower cones for the ladies on the backs of the chairs. The party favor will be one of those little signs that says "dream". I will use my black tablecloths with some sort of flowers in silver containers with silver star pics, and silver star confetti scattered over the table. Silver place settings with probably white dishes (or I have glass????),crystal stems and starry napkins made out of white fabric with printed silver stars...I'll just stitch around them and fringe the edges. No chargers, because that would be a mite complicated for some of the older ones to understand. Remember this is Texas :^)

We will have some easy appetizer, small meat servings of something (??) a big salad and fresh greenbeans from the garden. A starchy salad (macaroni or potato), iced tea and coffee available, and sugar free and regular parfait's with whipped cream for dessert served in crystal stemware with a little ring of silver stars twisted around the stem????

Okay have at it and give me your ideas,invites, decos, food, table, just tell me what you are thinkin'!! I have every accoutrement known to woman. I'm looking forward to what you come up with...they are going to be so excited.
