Your table is ready.....

Not Christmas in July, but Wed night dinner....

The square white plate is from the dollar store, and all the rest you hve seen from previous shopping posts..

DH made 3 Layer Eggplant Parmesian, meatballs and sausage and baked stuffed rigatoni.

For dessert I made Cannoli with fresh strawberries

Here's the setting w/o the food...

WHO'S NEXT??

    Kathleen,

First of all...please share your recipe for Cannoli. All of your food looks (and sounds) delicious.

Your table is very, very pretty. I love your new square plates and they look perfect with the aqua from Pier 1. The striped napkins are the crowning touch.

Boy, I wanna come eat at your house! ;o) Your DH made three entrees? People at my house are lucky if they get even one! LOL Your dessert sure looks yummy too.

Your white plates set off the green ones perfectly. Looks very nice, and I love the striped napkins too. TFS.

I LOVE the dishes and the entire tablesetting, including the food. However, I think you are tormenting us by showing such tasty meals. LOL.
And what a DH you have. Mine can/will only make PB sandwiches with maybe a can of soup to go with.

hugs, Karen who's now hungry at 3am thanks to you!!!

Oh my gosh, now I wish I'd eaten breakfast...

Breakfast of, ohhh, say... Parmesan. I don't even care for eggplant but yikes, does that look good.

Those aqua colored plates are so pretty too. Love the unusual shapes.

Must go find food now, I think...

Thanks, Ladies...it was such a bad storm yesterday, it was a good day to cook. Lots of leftovers, so no cooking tonight!
Jenn, I don't like eggplant either, except this way, so healthy you know, LOL.
Sandi, Luvs and Karen, I knew you needed something to look at, things are so slow here. I have nothing else to show..that's it, LOL

Kathleen, what a lovely table! I like the aqua plates and the striped napkins add the final touch.

I'd love to have your canoli recipe too! I've never tried making this, but it looks delicious.

OK, Kathleen. We want your cannoli recipe. I LOVE canoli.

Hey, Mary, how are you doing?? The calves must be getting big! How is Lily doing? ( Please don't tell me you ate her!)

I've been guessing Lily's something like Norman in "City Slickers"...

If it's someone's daughter, however, I'll be forced to call child welfare. :-)

Kathleen, no, we haven't ate Lily (she is safe, we don't eat beef much..and we raise them!) She is growing like a weed. Maybe some day I will go out and take her picture so your GD can see how big she is getting.

And yes Jenn, she is someones daughter, but please don't call child welfare....maybe 'USDA'! LOL!

Jenn and Jaybird, just to let you in on the scoop here--Lily is one of Mary's calves. There is a picture of her on one of the older posts. That conversation did sound a little strange for anyone not knowing who/what Lily was. LOL

No stranger than talking to our invisible dinner guests! LOL

Kathleen, the dishes look so "cool" like cool blue water on a hot day. Perfect for a summer supper!

Send your DH to my house, my DH would love a good meal like that!!!! LOL LOL

I hate to cook anymore, did it for too many years & now I get by with whatever I can with DH!!! He's not a picky eater & is satisfied with most anything, but you are making me feel guilty for not trying anymore!!! Plus, you make us hungry everytime you post your meals! That is NOT NICE!
