A lot of you fellow Houzzers know my recent ordeal trying to tweek the family room. No reveal yet, still have a couple of ideas I'm playing with.
In the mean time....I'm thinking of painting my kitchen, which adjoins the family room, and my dining room. Color I would like to use is BM Audubon Russet, HC51. Thank you Janis Hill! :-)
I'm not sure that it would work in the dining room with the color of the hardwood. Do not want to make the room to orange. I think the kitchen would be fine, but then will this russet color work with the existing gold color on the dining room walls?
I'm attaching old pictures of the dining room looking into the kitchen, prior to hardwood, then one with the hardwood down. Also, backsplash/countertop and tile of the kitchen. Have brushed nickel hardware.
I think, along with suggestion from a design person locally, the color would coordinate beautifully with my BM Carolina Gull family room color and the infamous brick fireplace. Please review my post "Color Question" for views of fireplace and wall color in family room.
Maybe, I should just do the whole house in Bleached LInen from Behr?
