Jjazzy if you millworker is very good it can all be drilled into the bottom of the upper cabinet. This looks very nice but I find it slows down the Electrician and increases his bill.

A false bottom on the upper or an extra shelf layed flat works very well and makes for quick installs.

These new LED strips are quite appealing and we tried a little side lighted feature above my stove.

What do you think of this?

We love it. Most people don't even notice the glass is illuminated when they walk in.

Our current build in False Creek will showcase some state of the art under cabinet lighting and I'll share some more pictures once they arrive from New York.

Thanks John like your pic's thanks for posting them, my apologies tho I should have specified it was for a floating base cabinet in the MB. It will probably have some slender legs to support he weight but overall will be 8 to 10" off the ground. I was going to have the craftsman recess the area but wondered if that was overkill since it won't really be seen. However the toilet is across from it and you might get a glimpse of the mechanics then. So I wanted feed back from others on the base cabinet to see how they handled it. Like those little lights that's very cool I put in a very sheer marble and thought about back lighting them.

Take a look at this bathroom. The location is Spain I believe.

I love the most the under tub lighting effect.

Have you ever seen a towel warmer like the one shown in the picture? Love it.
