Cupcake Cake Pan!!!

Hi all, I know I haven't been here at all this summer, but remembered Kathleen's cupcake cake and got a catalog in the mail today & there it was, the cake pan for making the cupcake cake!

They also have a website & it is www.lakeside.com

I looked there & the pan is in the Christmas catalog they show & that xmas tree cake on the cover of the catalog is from the cupcake cake pan.

I will be back to catch everyone up on things soon. I got wireless now & can view everyones blogs & pictures SO MUCH FASTER.

It's been a busy, hectic summer and I didn't buy much for tablescapes at garage sales, I just don't have anymore room.

Hope to jump in here soon with some pictures, bought a small round table to put in my sunroom & hope to find time to decorate it & photograph it soon.

I've checked in here a few times & looked at all the pretty summer tables, but now it is so much faster & easier for me.

Hope all is well, hope I'm welcome back.

Yachter, so glad you hear from you again! Sometimes, summer really isn't the "LAZY days" they sing of, is it? Even when it is fun things we are doing, it is still go, go, go! I'm glad you've got wireless now and your viewing will be easier. Looking forward to seeing that table with some decor on it!

Hi Yachter, Great to hear from you. I had asked about you not long ago. Kept thinking about all those great yardsales you always go to. I can sure relate to the "no more storage"--I keep trying to rearrange things around here too so I will be able to stash more! LOL You know you are always welcome here with us.

Hi Yachter..you've been missed. Glad you're on wireless now, that should make things smoother for you!

I have that catalog you mentioned and I saw that Giant Cupcake...much cheaper than the one from Wilton.
I just made one the other night to bring to a friend's..it's always a hit.
Hope to see you soon and will look forward to seeing your new 'round' tablescapes!!

DD, Luvs & Slinkey, thanks for the welcome back. It truly was not a good year for yard sales, which is probably a good thing, since I have little room for anything new.

I think the economy has hit everyone hard & people just not buying new & parting with things. Plus, I did not get to that many this summer.

Alot of baby items at most of the sales, not too much decor to speak of, but I'll persue my tablescapes with what I had last year & enjoy them over again.

I paid less than 20 for my Wilton pan..with a coupon!
I get that catalog, didn't see the tree made with it..But I imagine just the top and decorated to look like a little fat tree..and it is little, not as big as I thought it would be!

I found the catalog, can't find the pic of the tree..

Yachter, could you link it for me?

Also, their pan is silicone..I am not crazy about silicone pans...easy to spill!
But I am thinking a forest of trees, as I have the pan that makes 4 very big cupcakes too from Wilton...
Oops..too early to thing Christmas..not even Labor Day!

Hi Kathleen, here you go, it is on the main page, that little tree on cover of the middle catalog is what I was referring to.

Yep..that's the catalog I've got too, with cupcake/tree.
Kathleen, I got my Wilton pan from Michael's with a 40% off coupon and also paid under $20. I had been eyeing it ever since I saw yours. I didn't want to spend the full price for it, and just waited for a coupon.
As far as the silicone pans...I'm a bit sceptical on using them. I've seen them at CTS but keep passing them up...not sure if I'd like to bake in them.

Hi Yachter!! It's great to see you!
Our sales haven't been much this summer either :^( I have found a couple of things, but nothing of much interest.
Hope you will have more time to visit now that you are on "high-speed" :^)

Thanks, Yachter..That will be on my list to make. The gkids will love it..
Jane, I really haven't read good things about the silicone.
Many of them need a rack for support, so why not use the reg pan!
Yes, I remember you bought one..
Yachter, I could see the catalogs, but not the covers..so a big thanks. I am thinking of using that with the next size smaller, the size in this pic...

You probably can't tell, but they are big!
I see a whole forest of trees!

Welcome back, Yachter! My DD has been driving me nuts about that cupcake cake pan! It's so darn cute, but we're not much into cakes. We'd all rather have a slice of pie, but she's still begging for that pan! What a great idea for people that like to bake (and eat cakes), though! I also love the circus train pan . . . I keep thinking that it would be perfect for someday grandbabies ;^P
