My Fall Decor

Thank you all so much for inviting me to play. I'm not used to this forum, but I tested an image and it worked, so I'm going to try to post some of my fall decorating pictures.

I love to make the table look pretty, but I have only three sets of dishes, everyday, good china and Christmas. I haven't informed my husband yet that I HAVE to invest in a lot more dishes :)

These decorations will be out until the weekend after Thanksgiving. I'm not HUGE on Halloween, but I'll put out a few Jack-o-lanterns in a couple of weeks, then in November I'll add a cornucopia.

Gail, what your husband doesn't know, won't hurt him. LOL
I think a lot of us just tell them "we've had that stuff for a long time". My dear DH is so oblivious to stuff that he never notices if something is different. I love it.

Your decorations are lovely. I especially like the pop of blue on the living-room mantle. The basket on the heart is my favorite of all. I enjoyed seeing your decor. Like you, I will add a few Halloween looking things, but my Fall decor will pretty much stay the same till Thanksgiving is over.

Loaded up too many pictures???? No such thing as far as we are concerned, we love lots of pictures. Welcome to the forum NCnana, we are glad to have you sharing with us.

I love the way you did the swag on top and below your mantel. I need to do that, I have a very plain shelf mantel--that I would love to have replaced--and it just looks blah with only the swag I have on it now.

You have your home looking very festive and nice. Is your weather starting to feel like fall yet? Some of us are still having hot weather, so hard to get started on our Fall decor.

Love the use of cattails in the arrangements- makes me homesick for So.Dak. Well just a little, don't like snow!! The cattails are so velvety. Loved the little lights too & all the other nice displays. Thanks! Jan

Gail, thanks for posting your fall decor displays. It is fun to see how others decorate and you have done a lovely job. I am always on the look out for great colours in tablecloths and love the one you have on your table. It looks like a terrific colour for fall and goes well with the leaves you have on it. Great potential for a table setting (hint, hint, lol!)...we haven't seen any of your 3 sets of dishes, so they will all be new to us!
