Acorn Plates

I woke up to this Sur la Table advertisement in my email in-box this morning. I know these plates aren't in the bargain price range that everyone likes, but I think they are pretty just to look at. Scroll on down to see all the pieces and the coordinating items. Fun1

OA,

I'll bet Luvs is drooling right now, I know I am. We have many oak trees (the ones with the lobed leaves like those on the plates) in our back yard. They are actually now just beginning to turn color.

$9.00 a plate? Well, I can't afford it, but maybe someday they'll show up in a TS near me (slim chance...)

Thanks OA, you gave me a nice morning "fix" of acorn beauty! Not in my price range either, but always fun to look anyway. Luvs

Oh gosh, those are beautiful, OA! Even their mugs are pretty. (Sigh!) Wish they were cheaper ;I'd definitely be tempted, but it was fun looking (drooling) at them anyway. TFS.

I love them too but sure don't want to pay that price. Amazing how being on here has broaden my view on dishes. Good thing I still work and don't have time to shop!
