Bosch appliances

We are replacing kitchen appliances along with some simple kitchen remodeling. Bosch appliances look great. I have read forums here, but most were posted some time ago. I'd like some feed-back from experience with Bosch electric slide in range, front controls, refrigerator and otr microwave as well as DW. Am also considering a JennAire fridge. Any experiences shared will be appreciated.

I don't have much to go on but we installed our slide in the other night and just used it for the first time. I will say it looks very sleek in it's new home. The controls seem very easy to operate, though I was just heating up chicken on the "conv roast" setting. It came out great - not dry for reheating. Preheat to 350 took about 15 mins. Water boiled quickly. The convection fan really wasn't loud, IMO. I'll report more as I used it.

That's the only Bosch I own. The rest is GE and KA - so far, so good all around.

I have the bosch integra electric slide in and really like it. I am still getting used to the fan noise, but other than that its perfect. If they could make the fan noiseless I would give it a 10 out of 10.

Two plus years ago we moved to our present house and had to replaced the electric slide in range, microwave, dishwasher and refrig.

After making the rounds to the various box stores and mom and pop stores and doing our research on features and reliability, we purchased all Bosch appliances except for the refrig. That one is a Maytag side by side stainless steel.

We really like the Bosch appliances. The otr micro works exceptionally well. The range is a smooth top with a self cleaning conventional/ convection oven. The bottom of the range is a warming drawer. Took a few times to get use to the convection oven cooking but now that's the only way we cook/ bake. The warming drawer is fantastic for those large holiday gatherings.

The dishwasher has had none of the problems that have been posted on this forum. It is a very quiet machine that cleans very well.

We found the pricing to be competitive with any other brands. And we made our purchase at a mom and pop store - family owned business for 30+ years.

    Enjoy the journey.

FWIW, we just installed a Bosch full stainless electric range, matching OTR microwave, DW and JennAir CD FD refrigerator in SS with the pro handles and I couldn't be happier. The convection fan on the freestanding range is very quiet, the burners heat up MUCH faster and hotter than on the GE smoothtop that it replaced, and the results on convection bake and broil have been outstanding. The microwave appears to be much more powerful that the GE micro/convection model that it replaced. I replaced the DW with another Bosch...I'm a huge fan of their DW and didn't even consider anything else. As for the refrigerator.....DH can't stop talking about it(that should speak for itself). I realize that I'm still in the honeymoon phase but so far I am delighted with each one.
