finished decorating, I think

I finally got the bay window, and that 3rd shelf done.

Plus I tweaked some things and replaced some photos you saw before. (I ended up not changing the hearth afterall,

decided I like the bunch of stuff there. I added another little sign to the creepy cloth on fireplace screen.)

After I uploaded the last few photos, Photobucket decided to not let me do the "organize". So right now the first few aren't in the right spot. Anyway, there are a total of 21 for Halloween, and here's the link again.

hugs, Karen

    You think !
I think you could probably do a 'Halloween House Tour' !
I can't believe all the decorating you've done. Even though I've commented before, I'll add a few more..
First off, the picture of Jazz 'snuggled up' on the window among the Halloween decorations to just precious. Seems to be real comfortable and enjoying it all. I think he's becoming accustomed to all 'Your Playing'!
Your window display there came out great..it's a nice focal point.
I love all the Ravens Everywhere! Great Spooky effect to everything.
Cute saying on the Witch Hat - 'Witch & Famous'..I like how you used your Witch tassels. Your pumpkin florals are just lovely and also your Sidboard vignette. I like how you elevated the Witch Hat on the corner table..makes a statement - 'The Witch Is In' !
Karen..you did such an amazing job..I hope now you can relax, take it all in and enjoy it..you've got 2 weeks now to do that!

WOW, purplemoon! I had looked at your first Halloween decor post today ...but now you've outdone that one! WOW!

Your bay window area is just so darn CUTE! I love jazz sleeping there, too...nice space left for him! The tiny ghost town is really sweet...love those little ghosts you put in there. And such good buys $$$! Those silhouttes were like putting on 3-D glasses at the movies...it gave that effect...bay window & outdoors...great idea! And I like how you tied in the stacked plates ...looks real "Halloween-y!"

Alot of work on that "witch wreath" ... adding all the ornies & I am still just smilin' when I see those tassel witches (will be on my lookout list!) The signage on your 3rd shelf is way CUTE, too...perfect spot for that "psycho cat" from luvs & the witch & ya did good on the "ghosty!"

Yup, like jane, I think a "grand tour" is in order! Fire up that bus, jane! LOL! Amazing how you used that lantern with the dracula nutcracker...perfect together with all the goodies you added in & around the lantern! Your GK's are going to have fun looking at all your goodies!

Now, sit back awhile & get ready for round 2 ... at least (maybe), you can just take away some stuff for round 2 & not have to do as much decor ...as some will be left there...I still have serious envy problems over that side table in the entry! TFS your album! Jeanne S.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I'm sitting here smiling hugely from all the sweet comments.
Jane, I still feel lucky finding that marble-top sideboard
in the entry. Its a neat piece and is fun to decorate.
Yep, "Round 2" won't be so bad. Most of my Fall stuff still out, just need to add the turkey decor. I put a few things away till Halloween is over but not that much.

That wreath was work, but not adding ornaments part.
It was the darn string of lights that had to be wrapped, twice, and placed. I tend to lack patience. LOL.

I had to keep moving today, so was inspired to finish my Halloween stuff. Did stuff I shouldn't yesterday and sure got my back on warpath again. Sitting is a bit agonizing. I never learn.

I hope when I get up I won't find that Jazz-Trouble has redecorated the bay window. LOL. He's been so good that it worries me! I'm not sure what he's up to. LOL.

Very entertaining! I laughed out loud at the messy crow nest, so typical!! And loved your white pumpkin arrangement. Your place is like a Halloween wonderland. Good imagination!

Karen...Your halloween display is wonderful. There are so many things to look at. It's hard to choose a favorite. I do like the picture of Jazz sleeping in the bay window. I have a big orange cat also. He was a stray kitten. It's funny how cats do exactly what they want to do. Anyway I'm going back to look at your halloween wonderland again.

Well Karen...I have one question...WHERE do you store all of your fall/halloween stuff? OMGosh! I've never seen such elaborate decorations for Halloween...you SHOULD do a house tour! SO pretty! LOVE the acorns and the squirrel, all of your ghosts, witches, pumpkins, etc. You need to add to the GJ post as well.....been missing you there!

Ah, the ole Where Do You Store It All question. Marlene, hush your mouth! Don't you know we all hear that much too much from out significant others??? You'd be surprised how we can find space here and space there for all our goodies.

Karen is the Collection Queen around here.

Karen, I looked at the newly add pictures. Commented on a few, but love it ALL!

    Nicely done, gal.

Marlene, I may have a challenge storing Halloween stuff this year. LOL. It normally is in the garage in a big cabinet with all my Fall decor. Which I have too much of now too. Should be interesting to pack stuff away!

I went to CVS drugstore this afternoon to get a card, and
walked down their Halloween aisle. Pretty empty except for costumes. But I spotted these two little witches! They are actually tree toppers, and about 8 inches high.
On sale, two for $5. Needless to say, they came home with me. They have cute faces, not spooky but definitely mischievious!

Karen, I enjoyed seeing the changes you made to the shelves, and the way your bay window turned out. I love that window, and it sure looks great with all the silhouettes and other decor there. Nice that you left room for the kitty to sleep there--let's hope he's content with just sleeping! LOL You did a great job on your ghost and of course I love the wording on it. You found the perfect places to display the new tassels too. Don't blame you for bringing home those cute witches, and you sure got them for a really good price too. Now try to just walk around and enjoy it all, hope you'll be able to sit back and relax soon.

Karen, sorry I'm so slow at posting. I haven't been able to post the last couple of nights for some reason. I could read all the posts but when I clicked to submit it would say unable to display page.

I love your decorations and you have so many wonderful things to decorate with. The mercury glass is always so pretty and grabs my attention fast. I love your new black pumpkin with the gold webbing you made. I loved your white one too. Your new witches are so cute and such a great deal. Thanks for showing us all your goodies.
