I sent you a ton of photos about six weeks ago and then noticed the second I hit the send button that the e-mail address was one letter off, so somebody got a ton of photos they could care less about!! I was also crazy at that time getting everything finished so I couldn't face putting that e-mail together again!! I need to take finished house photos (but I am waiting for the rest of our lighting to come in, supposedly this week) first, then I will send photos.
We moved in a little over a week ago and it almost killed me, I swear I'll never move again. The house is beyond my wildest dreams, the kitchen is fantastic!!!
Restoration Hardware was fabulous about all the broken parts, they sent me replacements for free and by second day mail. But now I have the get the things installed right. I am going to be here when the plumber works on things so I can watch him, I don't understand why everything is loose!

Glad you're finally moved in. Do send photos when you have time. I find it's easier to upload to photobucket or shutterfly and make an album to share. I said the same thing about moving. Once every 20+ years is fine by me! Congrats, I bet the house is lovely!

NOTHING BUT ISSUES WITH RH Faucets! I cried my eyes out today - this is the 5th time one of the stems has become defunct. Ceramic disc not working to shut water off so I have to turn off at base of tub or sink. Happening on all of them! 5 times in one year since I put in. Getting a refund finally. Ive been so patient. this is just crazy. Newport Brass is garbage.

Any more feedback on restoration hardware faucets? I'm considering putting their Hutton vanity that comes with their Sutton collection faucets in my children's bathroom. I'd also use the matching shower faucet. Looking for additional feedback on quality.

Did you end up going with the Hutton vanity w/ Sutton faucets? I am considering doing the same and curious to see how they work. Thanks in advance for any help with this!

Nightmare installation with Sutton Tub Filler - the plumber had to come three times, very difficult to install, and the next day the hot faucet didn't work, we couldn't shut off the water. It cost us 3 weeks until the new stem arrived. Now the new hot one works but the cold one gave out, we only used it twice. The faucets don't shut off and then don't work at all. Supposedly it's just this small little plastic part inside the stem? - So frustrating. And costly. Appreciate any feedback. Thanks.

Same here only problems on top of problems. We used the RH Modern Line still have issues and can not have it work properly.

Same problem with RH faucets. Three plumbers have had problems with installation, leaky faucets and the replacement parts are super expensive (about $75 to get part to replace leaky faucet just on the cold side). The last plumber told me to replace them all with Delta. I thought he was crazy but I'm starting to come around.

Having issues with RH Modern line of supply lines. Our plumber has been out 4 times--the first 3 the guys had no idea what they were doing but they seem to have been installed properly the 4th time and we have leaks coming from the supply lines again. Any tips???

At least they are still in business after 14 years.

@A WELL-CURATED HOME, A Division of Alta Moda Inter We sold our house about 6yrs ago, but before we moved, we changed the RH sink faucets in the MBath. One was down to a trickle. RH had sent new stem valves, but still wouldn't work properly.

FWIW, our RH Bistro faucets were made by Newport Brass. Maybe contact them directly.

We recently renovated our home and installed all RH Sutton shower hardware. We have three shower faucets, and all three have broken (one of them has broken twice). The valve that controls the hot & cold water flow is plastic and easily breaks with very little torque from the handle (my late-60s arthritic mother-in-law broke one of them), which then means you have to shut off the water to the house, remove the face plate and turn off the water to the faucet directly, and then spend a week without using that shower before you reinstall a replace ment valve -- which in my experience will last 6 months or so before it breaks and must be replaced again. Reading through these reviews, it sounds like this is a pretty common issue. I will be avoiding RH plumbing products in the future.

FWIW: We just remodeled our downstairs powder room but decided to keep the RH Bitsro facuet because we liked the look of it and also we've been using it for probably 15 years now maintenance free, Originally it had a satin nickel finish but the remodel we went a different direction and painted the walls black and changed all of the hardware to brass. I read online that you could remove chrome off of a solid brass faucet using a mixture of Muriatic Acid and water so tried that. Appearently nickel is much more difficult to remove than chrome. Chrome can be removed rather quickly and nickel took me a week soaking it in a 50/50 Muriatic Acid and water mixture just to loosen the nickel to the point where we could sand it off. Then kept sanding using finer and finer grit wet sandpaper. Once it was actually down to the brass my wife did a quick patina using salt and apple cider vinegar and we are extremely happy with the results. Unfortunately after putting everything back together the hot valve now leaks a little (valves were not soaking in acid, just the outside parts). I contacted Newport Brass and they said "That is an RH faucet, we didn't make it, RH simply put our faucet buttons on it!" Really!? So now I am waiting for a call back from RH to see if they can supply me with a new hot valve. Besides the new leak this faucet has been amazing.
