Christmas trees

Hello Everyone!

I am looking for a certain kind of Christmas tree " look" It is not a full look at all. The tree should look almost like a charlie brown tree. I love to decorate trees for easter, fall, halloween, christmas etc. Well I should say not a full (very large tree) Should I maybe get a pencil tree and take some branches off and then gather other branch ends together?

Any ideas? My cousin had a beautiful both fake an real tree every Christmas like this but before I could ask her.. she passed away:(

Sharon so sorry your cousin passed on before you could talk with her about her Christmas trees. They sound cute and I hope you can figure out how to make one or buy it. I'll be looking forward to seeing what you come up with.

Have you googled Alpine Christmas trees? They look a little more rustic with no need to thin the tips. They are a pencil shaped tree. How wide are you looking for? My 7 1/2 ft. pencil tree is 27 inches wide. Are you looking for a tree with PVC tips or the new ones that have the molded real look tips?

Amazon has what seems like the perfect tree, and on sale for $39, that is $50 off the reg. price. Its a 5 ft high tree if that's big enough for you.

One more to look at is what is called Twig Christmas tree. Some of those come in slim size. Looks like Vickerman has a few that are twiggish: Vienna, Ashland, Minnesota. You can see them at Amazon too.
