we were looking at that fridge..so sharp looking.. 2 different salesmen from 2 different stores said no way...dont do it. Good luck!

For what it's worth - I just saw an Electrolux with external ice/water and it felt so cheap - compared with the GE Cafe next to it, and especially compared with the Samsung and Kitchen Aid... I was very unimpressed....

Thanks so much. I have read nothing but issues with that fridge but most reviews were on the older side so I was hoping that they resolved the issue. This Fridge is on of only 4 that will fit our space (and it is so pretty looking at the AJ madison website -- and I am a sucker for those handles)
The other ones that may fit are Bosch and Kitchen Aide...: )

Multiple places I went to recommended against the Electrolux. At one bigger store, the sales guy surveyed a half dozen sales guys at the front of the store and not one recommended the Electrolux.

I too like the FD Electrolux. The counter depth version has more shelf space than many others (i.e. KA and GE)

Oh gosh how I wish Electrolux made good fridges! They have an all fridge that would be perfect and save me thousands over the other options. Every review I have read is terrible, unfortunately. One guy said he got the all fridge to save money over the SZ and this has been such a pain he really regretted not spending the extra 5k. That made me pay attention!

The guy at the appliance store said that the Eletrolux had resolved its ice tray issues...It is only one of two friges that fit in my space, the other is the Bosch side by side.
