Suntouch warming mats are available at Home Depot and Lowes. A 30x48" mat is $128, a 30x72" mat is $158; the cheaper dial controller is $68 and the fancy programmable one is $147 (go to Lowes.com and search for "suntouch"). This is the brand we have.

Another good one would be from Laticrete, called Farenheat. It's almost exactly the same system as Suntouch, but because it just came out and they're trying to publicize it, you might stand a better chance of finding a deal on it. one thing for sure-- even at normal pricing, the mats are about the same rpice as Suntouch, and the programmable thermostats are about the same price as Suntouch's baseline controls.

Thanks Bill and Mari. I was in Home Depot just the other day and asked if they had radiant heating for floors. They said they did not. I might have used the wrong terminology. Bill, what kind of store would I find the Farenheat? Would a flooring store likely have it? If so the shop David works out of might have access to it and I could get good discount :)
