Judithva snowflake table

Hi All,

I can not for the life of me find the tablescape where Judithva used the snow flakes from DG as placemats. Could someone please point me in the right direction? Thanks.

I'm having an early Thanksgiving dinner for my in-laws next weekend and I'm hoping to post some pictures of my table.

Also, for anyone interested, my Walmart was in the process of stocking some plain off-white dishes (in Christmas boxes) in the cooking area. The salad plates were 4 for $5 and I was not able to see the rest as they were still in crates.

I don't know if she posted a complete table, but here is the pic from the magazine it comes from...CHRISTMAS IDEAS 2007. The 2008 edition is out at magazine stands, or Walmart. The front cover is almost exactly the same as last year though!
    Sorry the pic isn't great...

Maybe Judith will repost her completed table so we can all see! I don't remember seeing it..

I don't think Judith posted her tablesetting last year, or I don't remember seeing it.

Kathleen, thanks for posting the photo!

I remember that she had a clear snowflake under the plates.

Thanks for your help. I found the snow flakes at dollar tree this afternoon. I can already think of several tablescapes in which to use them!

dd50, well I am glad someone remembered them LOL, I will probably do them again this year, as my DD really liked the set up.

Socalgirl, they look pretty hanging from the ceiling too...

Judith, we remember you showing the snowflake, but not the whole table. I do remember something with antlers too?

And yes, I hope you will do it for our "FLAKE Off" in Dec.

I will go back to last years posts and see if I can find your table..sorry if I missed it...:(

Here is a link that might be useful: Snowflake table 2007

Gasuz, thanks for the link, I did post a finished table, but when I had to rearrange my Photobucket (ran out of photo room) a bunch of photos were deleted, but I'll probably post another pic on my blog.

Yes, that's the pic I remember....I never saw the whole table.
    Thanks, Sue!

I am having fun ..getting lost in the search of this forum

So many ideas! (and I am glad to see many of the dish-aholics have a slight obsession with bunnies). I had a blue/white bunny hop into my cart while I was at Hobby Lobby on Friday (along with a blue/white teapot)

gasuz, where's the photo of your bunnny and teapot? You definitely have to show this to us bunnaholics.
I just bought myself this tee shirt the other day, figured it explained a lot....

    hugs, Karen

Bunny and teapot are in the back of the car with the christmas decorations (that I didn't get, lol). I was planning to bring them in the house during the confusion that surrounds decorating for Christmas. When the boxes come out of the attic (and there are many)...the bags will also come out of the back of the car.....

I may go look tomorrow and see if I can rescue him from all the ornaments, filler, and dishes....

    That's funny Karen!

Thank goodness for car trunks! Lots of goodies live there..

I've tried leaving goodies in the car, but it just won't work for me. By the time three backpacks loaded down with school books, a guitar, two batons and dance bags get thrown in, my poor goodies don't stand a chance.

I just have to try to make sure hubby isn't at home after I've been shopping.

Yes, lucky for you, DG! I have stuff in there I have forgotten about! not really but sometimes I surprise myself, :)

Thanks Judith for your great ideas. You have helped me get back in touch with my creative side. A few years ago I bought paper snowflakes at the dollar store and I stood out side over my trash can spraying them with adhesive and glittering them, I them hung them over the dessert table for a party. (I also had the prettiest trash can in the neighborhood.) lol!!

I have to confess, that I too, am a bunnyaholic. They just seem to multiply! haha

I also ordered the book for your on-line class and I will work very hard to catch up!

Karen, your new shirt is a hoot! You are such a character. I love it!

I didn't see Judith's finished snowflake table either, just the preview pic. Maybe she posted it on Flicker or HGTV, don't remember seeing it here, but would love to.

I'm looking forward to doing a table for the "flakeout" in December. It will be fun to see what everyone does, as you know each one will be unique.

Somehow I missed the great "flakeout." When is it? or are we posting as we do the tables?

I believe 1st Dec. Check the snowflake glasses thread.

Hi Judith! What a pleasant surprise to click on the forum and see your post! I don't think i've been on here for over a year, but because of the season, thought I would pop in. I hope all is well with you, or at least things are getting better~sometimes that's all we can hope for. I have to say I sure miss your posts on the decorating forum! You added so much to the overall 'flavor' of the forum. That was before it was taken over by Houzz, which took a bit getting used to. Have you finished up with your remodeling~what a daunting 'task' to take on. I'm sure those 'older' forum members who remember you would go out of their minds if you were to post! Of course pictures would be awesome, but don't want to push you. Could I beg? lol I hope you somehow see my text~maybe you will come back here. Judith, I don't think i'm speaking for myself when I say you are so missed. It would be awesome if you could find a few minutes to let us know how you are doing and fill us in on the remodeling. Christmas pictures would be appreciated when you have time. And w g at about your blog......loved it!

    Take care.

    Hi patty-cakes42

Oh, you are so nice to remember me! I will lurk in here every now and then, but yes, like you said the forums have changed some. I've been pretty busy, with a few things in my life, I've gotten into doing photography for families, and some weddings, and photography for work when needed. It does take up a bit of my time. But I do still enjoy one of my passions which is still setting a pretty table for me and my family and friends. I changed my overall look to more of a traditional "not-too-camp" beachy look, with teal and cream being the main color accent to work off of. My kitchen remodel got put on hold, I recently found out I needed a whole new roof, after paying for that it put a end to the kitchen plans for awhile.

I'm almost finished decorating my tree, it's basically all white, a touch of cream, white flowers, glass, and tons of crystal and white ornies. My tablesettings will be along the same line with lots of crystal, silver, glass and lots of glam. I will try to post a few shots here. :)

Thank you again for all your kind words!
