Autumn table

This is a table setting that I put together for dinner last night. Slinkey was the inspiration for this one with her gorgeous cornucopia. I haven't been able to find one yet, so I used a basket turned on it's side.

I noticed after taking the photos that my stripes were sort of crooked on my napkins. I need to do a better job of folding them.

The salt and pepper shakers (you can see one of them on the right) belonged to my grandmother. They're part of a salad set that she had.

This little angel just jumped in my basket while I was shopping yesterday...what's a girl to do? I couldn't bring myself to make her jump back out, so I brought her home with me. Now she's making herself at home on my tea table.

Dessert anyone???

dream... you put together a lovely table setting.
What a clever gal you are, by using the basket turned on it's side. It worked out great and it's decorated beautifully. I like all your accessories and I like those little green bowls.
Your dining area looks lovely. I had the exact pressed back chairs, and table, but stupidly sold them when I moved.

I know you couldn't say no to that little angel..that would have been a 'Sin' LOL.. She's cute and your cake looks yummy!

Dream, that is a lovely setting. The basket worked fine and I love how full it all is. Love that Angel too, I would have welcomed her in my basket if I saw her.
But did you have to go and add a Fattening Foto? I get plenty of calories looking at Kathleen's yummy food as it is. I need to avoid her blog for sure. LOL.

Dream, terrific 'scape! I love the rich autumn colours and especially that paisley table runner. It goes so well with all the colours of your cornucopia (basket)overflow. The green colour of your napkins goes perfectly with the leaves and candles. Love that fall angel - a perfect additon to your tea set area. I'd LOVE some of that cake for dessert - looks yummy!

Yes, I'd like a piece of cake, please! Your autumn table is beautiful and the centerpiece is just gorgeous. I love the angel (and your tea set).

OK, I have those chairs, too! Plus, my parents have a very similar buffet that they inherited from my grandma. It's beautiful!
I love your candle holders! Those are lovely! Do I see prisms hanging down from them? It's hard to tell in the pic.
What a great idea to use a basket turned over for your cornucopia. Very nice tablesetting!

Really nice DG, looks like a very abundant harvest! I really like that paisley print you used too, and you were very clever to think of using the basket. Yummy looking dessert--and I'm hungry too!

Well, I don't have the chairs or the buffet, but I do have the glasses...do they count? :^)
    Beautiful table and centerpiece!

Very pretty, I like the green to tie everything together. Your centerpiece is abundant, just the way I like things. Ok I had the chairs too and sold them, but still have the buffet. Those candle holders kind of look like what my DS calls Hollywood Regency, I like them because of the sparkley prisms. I'm surprised no one has mentioned the cute little acorn dish. Cute. Good job, TFS

Pretty, pretty, pretty DG! You and I have the same table runner (love it!). Your new Autumn angel is darling and looks so pretty on your tea table . . . what a great find she was!

Oh Dream! How abundantly beautiful your table is!

See, this is what I mean when I say y'all are so talented. I never would have thought to use a turned over basket. It worked great!

I love the paisley, too. I even had a paisley dress that I wore a lot until DH said he hated paisley. I threw it away.(We had just married) Now I would just laugh and give him a peck on the cheek and say, "Get over it!"

Hey, the black Halloween cat jumped in my basket and started purring! I couldn't make it get out either!

How blessed you sre to have something that belonged to your Grandmother. I know you treasure those.

Syble, The first thing I thought when I saw that acorn was, "There's another acorn for Luvs!"
