Punk..
You have many lovely things displayed. I love all the warm tones. Is that a garland, swag or differnt pieces that's arranged on your table? It's so full looking and has a nice variety in it.
Also I love your painted tray..such a pretty design and colors.
I'm realizing now why you 'churn out' all these beautiful and creative projects so quickly...That's where you 'Unwind' from your business. It's called 'Therapy' and that's Great you have that release.
I spied some very lovely things in your cabinets. Is that a white ceramic pumpkin in there? I'm seeing beautiful glassware too...I'm seeing 'Vignette'.
Dinnerplate/Pumpkin Bowl/flatware..napkin and Glass!
You're done! See that was easy.. a dinner plate vignette for 1. Oh, and something from your lovely fall florals added.
See, that wasn't hard.

Glad you showed off your 'stuff'...Now we see ALL the possibilities you posess in those cabinets.

jane

Very pretty, Punk. I like the fullness of your table too.
And that painted tray is lovely. Speaking of Luvs, bet she spied those acorns right off the bat.

It didn't take Slinkey long to plan your future tablesettting, LOL. She makes it so easy for us tablesetting-challenged folks, just waves that Slinky Wand and suddenly we think we know what we're doing.
Pretty amazing huh?

hugs and LOL,
Karen

Punk,

Your table display is spectacular! I'm really liking the full look, as Jane so aptly described it. There are so many things to draw my attention. Is your tray one of your creations?
Also love the displays by your hutches... speaking of that... when are you going to bring all the pretties out to show us?

Lee

Good Morning,
Jane, Karen and Lee, thanks for the wonderful comments on my fall decorations. This is a sway I add lights and styro pumpkins for the evening. The sway came with grapes already on it.

I painted my tray after Luvs, it was one of those that I needed the nudge to getter done. Now we have matching trays so that's great.

Keep after me and I'll try to some up with a setting. I just need to have some me time to start and then I will come here and ask for help to complete it. Oh BTW, thanks again for the help in advance.

Got to go get tires and rims changed before meeting this morning. Jane, I do require alot of Therapy and yes it keeps me on the right track, almotst.LOL

Punk

Are all of you getting the idea that Punk is like a sky rocket zooming around lighting up everything? That was the impression I got after having chatted with her awhile on the Painting forum. This girl works really long days at their business, often meeting with clients late in the evening, she entertains family and friends allot, is always helping someone--even a customer who needed her carpets shampooed--raises a garden, keeps up with lots of acreage of yard, and still finds time to paint gorgeous projects! Now you know why I nicknamed her "Speedy". You do realize she not only has all her Halloween decs down--but they are already put away! Punk, you truly are amazing. ;o)

Jane, you are getting really good at just sort of slipping these tablescape ideas into your posts! LOL You make it sound sooooo easy! LOL

Karen, I had painted that same tray because of the acorns and the saying. Punk painted hers in half the time and even better than mine! She is a very good and very fast painter! ;o)

Love all your pretty fall things, Punk, especially that topiary in the urn. Did you make that? So pretty.

Luvs

Everything looks great. I need that turkey for my turkey collection. That tray is so beautiful and really sets the perfect table.
Syble

Pretty, Punk! I love these warm Autumn colors, too, and am particularly liking your floral arrangement in the pumpkin. Nice! DD's home today for a school holiday. Now you've got me thinking of putting mine up,as well. Maybe I can talk her into helping me.
Thanks for sharing your pretties with us!
Lynn

Everything looks really pretty, Punk. I love the way you stacked the pumpkins on the little side table, and of course your floral arrangement in the pumpkin. It's all very lovely.

I guess it's time to turn the Jack-o-lanterns back into pumpkins. We were so busy this weekend, I never thought about it.

Luvs, thanks for telling us just what a dynamo Punk is.
Amazing is an understatement for her! I'd like the energy just in her little finger!~
I'm so glad she joined our Holiday family and can find time for us, she's a total delight.

hugs, Karen

Karen... I agree with you. I'm so glad Luvs gave us some insight on 'Speedy Punk'.
I told her how amazed I am over how fast she does her paintings and so well too. Now, learning that she's operating two business, opening her home up to endless guests, besides finding time to join in here..I'm exhausted for her! She does need some 'Me' time. Wish I were there to bring her some 'Chicken Soup'...and Karen...you could serve her some tea with a straw !! lol
Even before Luvs gave us her (bio)lol...I just knew from her posts, what a 'good heart' she is, and I too am glad she's with us.

jane

I've just been quietly oohing and aawing over your pics, Punk! I packed away all my JOL's and bright orange things in bins today so only have the muted fall colors left and it looks a bit bare in contrast.

I love the "lushness" of your table and have looked at everything several times to see it all! So many lovely ideas I'm going to shamelessly try to copy. My urn would really like one of those topiaries I'm sure! I'd better start a list for next year. Thanks for the inspiration.

Are those pumpkins "stacked"? Would you mind telling how?

All your paintings are very nice but that tray is beyond lovely.

After reading all this I must say, all of you are such wonderful, fun loving ladies and I'm so thankful to Luvs for insisting I come over and check it out. What was I thinking that it took me so long. Please, don't go there.LOL

So to start, Luvs is an excellent painter and I'm thrilled to be able to paint with her here. I purchased the topiary in the urn from Michael's.

Syble, I'd love to paint you a turkey and some day I may get one painted for you. I'll try to remember this.

Lynn, I purchased the pumpkin floral arrangement at Michaels. I hope you can get DD to help with your fall decor. As good as you two are I'll bet it happens and I'll be waiting to see your pictures.

Gail, I never thought about turning the jack o lanterns around. I put mine away and brought out others for Thanksgiving. Thanks for enlightening me on that for next year.

Karen, thanks and Luvs is way to nice with her description. I will try to get here often but my life is a whirlwind most days. I'm sure some of my posts show my state of mind.

I hope you and Sly don't take to many of my naughty pills. You two will end up in more trouble than you should on ebay while I'm at work. It just isn't right that you play so hard while I'm away.

Jane, So does this mean that you will be coming to serve chicken soup and and Karen will be serving tea with a straw? Luvs may want to join us.

Jane your so fun and I always look forward to hearing from you everyday. I also have my cosmetology license. I quit taking appoinments last month and haven't missed it yet.

LG, thanks so much for your wonderful comments. Funny that you asked about the stacked pumpkins. They are glued together using a glue gun. I had another one glued but it came off and I tossed it back in the halloween tote.LOL

I have some Christmas topiaries that I bought at Michaels so I'll try to get some pictures posted for you to look at. You can copy anything I have and never worry that I think anything other than it's great to be able to share with others.

Thanks again everyone for all the wonderful comments. I'll try to get back on Wed. I have to show my parents home tomorrow evening at 8 p.m. so don't know how much fun time I'll have.

Punk

::THUD:: Sorry, that is me being exhausted for Punk! I don't think she has time to collapse, so I will do it for her.

I so admire people who are such dynamos. I have a SIL like that. While I am shuffling my way to the kitchen, she prepares lunch *and* dinner, cleans up, and is off doing something else.

Don't want Punk to get a swollen head where she can't get in the door, so, sshhh, don't anyone tell her, but she is such a delight, as is everyone here in our little group. A sense of humor makes life easier to get through, sometimes.

Well, I am going to go rest up now, just hearing Punk's schedule has made me need a nap. lol

Lee

Lee... here I was just finishing my second cup of coffee..
when I read your comments..about your SIL... I think
there's one like that in Every Family!! (mine included).

Glad you 'collapsed' for Punk...I'm right behind you!

Now Punk...what did you mean about 'You still having your Cosmetology Licence'... are you implying 'I Need Help' ??
Geesh...I wish you were nearby...I really could use All the Help I Can Get...LOL

Good Luck with showing your Parents' home.. I hope that goes smoothly for you.

Jane
.

Punk, I forgot to mention your cosmetology license. Mercy. So what do/did you do in your spare time? (-;

i think Tammy Wynette was the country singer who kept her cosmetology license up in case the entertaining business didn't work out.

Lee

Lee and Jane,

You are so fun and this is what I do in my spare time. I just love you gals. Not sure about the big head but I'm getting a big butt from it and that's not good.LOL Oh well, to late. Guess I might as well stay and play now!

Jane I wasn't implying anything and I wish you lived closer and we'd probably have alot of fun. Lee, that's interesting about Tammy Wynette. I use to think I could sing her song Our D_I-V-O-R-C-E as well as her when I was in school.LOL My DGM would put her albunm on the stereo and let me sing to my hearts content. She lived in town and I'm sure that wasn't a good thing!!! I really like her singing and had kinda forgotten her till you brought it up.

Punk

It is all beautiful, but that tray is outstanding!!
Thanks for posting!

JB, thanks for your wonderful comment. The tray is my match to Luvs tray. She painted hers and I had been wanting to paint one but didn't until I seen hers. Glad all of you like the trays. Punk
