Bit more decorating

I'm slowly but surely adding/redoing/recycling my decoarations. Here are a few more:

Entryway:

Downstairs Bath:

This is 100% recycled. I had over 10 years ago a "doll" tree and I took the snowmen out of that stash along wiht a garland I hated, the tin tub I haven't used....and out came the snowman tree.....

Very pretty, Bourb. I really like those Nutcrackers in the entryway vignette. (and love all the OLD photographs, those are really wonderful.)
But that Snowman Tree is just tooo adorable, and the tub its in is perfect for it. I want to add that to our Xmas Inspiration Album.

Love that little tub, are you a painter? Did you paint it? You seem to be really good at finding collections of things to create theme trees. I love snowmen, so this would be one of my favs of all your trees. Luvs

Your house must be beautiful at night with all the Christmas lights on. I love those pictures of yours.

I think the use you made of the tub is ingenious. I can see the wheels in Luvs' head turning now! I'm going to a Christmas Boutique today. You can bet I'll be keeping my eye out for one of those. Nice joy, B-Lady.

I love seeing your pictures! You really do a wonderful job decorating. You've inspired me to do something with an old tin tub that I have in our foyer, too. I've never considered putting a tree in it . . .until now, that is!

Karen, the nutcrackers were a gift from the kids about 3 years ago, so they're special! The photos are all family. When my Gran died a few years ago, Mom naturally got all of her photos. There weren't many (several were lost in a tornado when I was about 3) and then with there being three of us kids and now 9 grandkids....by the time they were split up again and again....they would be lost. So I started to scan everything and identify them all so everyone could have access. That led to my other addiction, family tree research....which led to several contacts, which led to more and more photos I never even knew existed including the oldest one I have on the wall, a portrait of one set of my 3rd great grandparents....

Luvs, no, not a painter....always overworked the paints, pencil was more my thing, I could shade, smudge, erase until I had it just right, but that was years ago! Now I'm stuck to doing it all on the computer.

Most of those snowmen on that tree I made probably 13-14 years ago. We were young, the kids were young, didn't have the money to decorate the way I wanted....so I made things! The rest were ones I found at Big Lots around the same time for 99 cents each. The tub, my mother-in-law gave me several years ago and it just never fit in with anything, so it was holding the 17-year-old's "make my truck shiny" stuff.....The only thing that I actually bought for it was a $2 bag of fluffy fake snow to fill in around the base.

Mary, it is pretty at night....or at least I think it is! LOL!

    Glad you all enjoy!

(I just previewed my post....obviously I'm sitting here waiting on customers to get back to me so I can work!)

bourbonlady, Again, everything is so very pretty. And I love your snowman tree in the tub also. The lights in the cabinet are so pretty at night too. Your decorations are all so beautiful.

I do genealogy research also and love it. It's another of my addictions. '~)
