Do You Believe?

This is a whimsical little setting that I put together for my youngest daughter. YaÂll know how children talk and for the last couple of years sheÂs been really questioning me about Santa. IÂm trying to maintain the illusion as long as possible!

Everything on the table, with the exception of the beaded placemats, was bought either at WM or Dollar General.

I thought the roly-poly Santa and snowman were too cute. My middle daughter says they look like egg men. Not really sure where she came up with that though.

Do You Believe??

One of the place settingsÂI found the flatware on sale after Christmas last year. I paid a whole $1 for 4 settings!

One last shot of the whole table.

Oh wow, love it, love it. I'll be right over to steal the bowls & plates, they would go great with my table, plus I think those red & white candles will also go with my table.

The ornie & bows on the napkins is too cute too.

Oh heck, send it all to me, I'll even pay the shipping!!! LOL

What a cute fun table. I love it too!
I'm sure your girls just loved sitting at that table.
The red and white candy cane theme is just adorable.

What great finds from WM and Dollar General.
AND that flatware for an unbelievable $1 !!!

I love the cute stockings and those adorable little bowls.
    Everything is so perfectly coordinated.

Too, too cute. I love the believe sign and theme, makes it feel special. My kitchen is a fun theme also, I think it's not only fun for the kids, but us adults as well.

That is charming! I love the red twist candles and red/green twist bowls!!! The candy canes in the stockings are so cute too. Very cheerful.

Very sweet table! I love how you followed through with the stripe and swirl theme throughout the whole table. Everything looks great together.

Don't you just love those glittered wood (or whatever material they are) signs from the Dollar Store! I am still kicking myself for not getting a midnight blue glitter "Let it Snow" one I saw there a couple years ago, and right now there's a white one (I think it says Peace) with a couple silver doves that catches my eye everytime I'm there.

I was tempted to buy one of those snowmen on the spring too. They've been having some nice stuff at the Dollar Store. I thought their ornaments were really reasonably priced and nice looking.

I *definitely* believe you have created a very cute tablescape! Love the candy cane candles, the flatware was a fantastic find, and really, everything goes together so well. I'm sure Santa approves! ;-)

I love it!!! My GKids would love it, too!! You really found all the right things to make this table a standout!!

I'm not a kid and I would love to eat there!

Nope, never belived in Santa. My earliest memory of Christmas was laying on my parent's bed on Christmas Eve with my next oldest sister who said, "They are putting out our presents!" Then, they opened the door and told us we could come out and there was my bike under the tree!!

I was the baby and all of the older, married siblings always came home Christmas Eve and shared in my excitement of getting and opening my Christmas presents.

OK, the truth is.... they came home to see Mama and Daddy, but they brought me presents!! LOL

What a truly delightful table! I see Smiles all over the place sitting there.

And yes, I 'believe'. I believe that Santa is the Spirit of Christmas for young and old. That bit of magic we all need in our lives!

LOL, I was at my daughter's today and she was decorating and had put up one of those pretty sparkly signs on her mantle. It said FAITH. My littlest grandaughter (5 yrs old) piped up and said "what is Faith?" My daughter looked at me and said Your Turn. LOL. So I winged it for a simple explanation, and said 'Faith is when you really, truly believe in something'. Then I asked little DG what did she have faith in. She said "God, Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny. And oh, Mommy". LOL.

Very pretty and fun, Dream. Your little candycane plates are so cute, and you really carried the theme right down to the candies scattered on the table! What a fantastic deal on the silverware! Know this made for a fun and happy dinner. Luvs
