I don't have my tree up, yet (hopefully this weekend).
I plan on putting red, white and blue lights on it. With
Patriotic ornies and Ameican flags. I hope to make a wreath to match!
God Bless!

My sister did red, white and blue and it is beautiful. I did mine with red and white with angels (all white, ribbons, etc), the tulle angels are holding flags. The blue in the flags are the only blue on the tree. I debated on an angel topper or star topper and decided the white star topper was to guide the way. Of course the white star is my favorite anyway, I've used it for years. I light my angel topper on a table.

We did our outdoor lights in red ,white and blue. I put flag print ribbons on our gate wreaths. I have hundreds of those little paper flags on tooth picks that I intend to put on a small tree in our family room. I have all the stuff left over from the little tree I used to put in my son's room when he was little. J

If you have a light on a post outside, you can take out the bulb and put in an adapter that makes it into a plug and stuff it full of r, w, & b lights. I have a string of 100 and they blink. I wish I'd gotten the chase lights, they would have been more interesting.
