The tubz.com site had several choices. Look under bathroom sinks by style. Hope this helps.

Have it custom built? Find a piece of furniture that could be converted?

What you're describing sounds similar to my bathroom vanity from Kohler, not sure if you're looking for something as open beneath though. I attached a link.

hi there, i'm having the same problem. i've also heard nightmares regarding buying vanities over the web. i've been doing research on max, they happen to have many different websites and are rated very poorly w/ the BBB. i'd hate be out over $3000. i noticed premiere vanities on your list, have you heard anything good/bad about them? thanks for any info.

Go to a custom cabinetmaker...if you're that picky, they can give you exactly what you want and it will probably be the same price or only slightly more.

We just got our custom stuff last week - I was being super specific and could not be more pleased!

I have to agree with youngdeb, but then I am very biased on this subject. Even so, I continue to believe that you get what you pay for. There are, as you well know by now, any number of ready-made vanities, but if they don't really have what you're looking for, well, there are any number of people looking for work these days. And what you may find being done in someone's garage may well astound you!

bemily,

I also third youngdeb's suggestion. I looked forever for a vanity for our downstairs BR. I had received one quote from a custom cabinet maker, and it was so expensive, that I renewed my search for a ready made one. Then I found an ad on Craigslist for a cabinet place, and lo and behold, ended up having our vanity custom made for about what a low/medium ready made would have cost us. They also thought of little details that hadn't occurred to us, like a one inch spacer for next to the wall. I will probably limit my search to cabinet makers for the next two bathrooms (we won't use this one again just because his location is too far from home).

How about Restoration Hardware? I have purchased 2 bath vanities from RH and have been very happy with the quality. Plus, their annual bath sale is going on now and I think you get 20% off everything. Good luck!
