Oh my how sweet - I love it. I need to get my table cleared off first - it is my main staging area for all my other decorating but I am just about done ......

    Thank you Judith and Lynne.

Lynne, I always used my kitchen table as my staging area also, but I think the best thing I ever did for myself was to buy a small card table to use so I could set my table and still have a place to work from.

Oh, that is adorable! So festive. Good job, Sandi, and a table that can be used all winter long!

Thank you Kathleen. I guess my kitchen table is the only place that will have snowflakes this winter as snow here is very rare.

I love your snowman table. Where did you get your snowflakes under your plates?

How cute is that!!!!! I LOVE IT.

Rootchaser, The snowflakes came from Dollar Tree. I borrowed the idea from Kathleen. If you go back through her posts you'll see the great table she did using large white snowflakes and red glass plates.

And thank you ladies for the nice comments.

Prosperity, my DH loves a big country breakfast for supper sometimes and I wanted to do a table just for that.

Sandi, my son and I love to eat an English breakfast, we do this each weekend (generally on Saturday because on Sunday it's French breakfast: croissants).

But sometimes, we love to eat some kind of "breakfast" for supper: croissants or bread with jam or pancakes with a pot of tea or hot chocolate... We do this often.

And I have to say that your plates would have a great look on MY table ;-)

    What's a "country breakfast"?

Here in Belgium, in the morning, we eat bread with jam or croissants and people don't understand that my son and I liked to eat sausage, eggs, bacon, potatoes while drinking tea... in the morning.

Pancakes are generally reserved for the afternoon (4 PM children collation or Mardi Gras).

Thank you Kathi. The table was fun for us. Everything on the table except the linens and flatware came from dollar stores so it was very inexpensive to do.

Prosperity, A "country" breakfast for us would be bacon, sausage, thick sliced ham fried, eggs, grits, some type of fried potatoes, jams and jellies, biscuits for my son and I and toast for my husband. And of course on a good night, pancakes also. We all drink coffee & milk (sometimes orange juice) with our breakfast whatever time of day we have it. It sounds much like your breakfasts. DH loves croissants, but my son & I don't eat them. Of course I'm sure our grocery selection croissants are very different than the croissants available to you. We live in a very small town and don't have a bakery here.

Very interesting breakfast: I save the post on my computer and will prepare a country breakfast as soon as I'll come back from Brussels.

Milk is something we tend to forget to drink here, unfortunately.

We have a bakery in our little village. I never understood why it's successful because their bread and pastries are... yeeeeeeeeeeeek!!!

Their pastries are tasty but so expensive that we're afraid to eat them.
