Wow, I love the log you used for your candles! Your snowman plates are very cute. I donÂt remember seeing any of those at our DG. IÂll have to look next time IÂm in there.

Thanks, dreamgoddess. We got them at Thanksgiving. Hopefully you can still find some.

Very nice, Tammy. I like the log idea a lot too.

hugs, Karen

Those are the cutest little snowmen plates! No way you could sit down to eat at that table and not smile. Good idea to drill the log--I think you could even do one and use the taper candles in it too. Luvs

Luvs, that's a great idea about drilling holes in a log for tapers. I hadn't thought of it. All you would need would be a smaller drill bit. Hmmm...hubby may have another project! LOL!

Tammy, your table looks lovely.
Those are cute snowmen plates and accessories.
They sure don't have anything that nice at the DG by me.
I also like that reindeer too...is he metal?
He's very different looking.

Many years ago, my brother made one of those logs with the Boy Scouts, for Christmas. It had the tapers.
My DM used it for years and I thought it was so nice.
I like yours with the votives..
I wonder how it would work, if you were to drill holes on the bottom and top of the log, and then just flipped it over, for whatever candles you felt like using! LOL Just a thought.

Everthing is so adorable. A friend of mine made me one of the logs out of white birch and decorated it with red winter berries. Good idea to drill 2 sizes then, flip.

Jane, I like your idea of drilling holes for tapers on the other side.

Yes, the reindeer is metal. I love how chubby they are.

Very festive! And so warm looking! Love the choice of dishes & the warm glow of everything...using the log for a centerpc is so nice! TFS! Jeanne S.

Love the candle log, and those dishes are adorable. The twig silverware fit right in too.
