We have a wolf 36", which I chose in no small part because I liked the pattern on the glass... the burner arrangement is no problem for us, and the whole thing cooks beautifully. The only problem is that it is noisy- in an electric bug zapping kind of way. Wolf did replace it, and the second one makes the same noise! They are trying to hunt one down for me made in a different time/place to see if that will make the difference. Thankfully, I had a repairman who agreed the noise was outside the usual induction noise and the distributor has thus far been supportive... I hope they find "the one" for me because I can't tell you how much I love cooking on this thing!

Thanks for the info - I had no idea these tops could be noisy until I starting reading posts. I had only heard the positives, but it's better to be prepared.
