I really like the Cafe ranges not only because of the look, but because of performance as well. Their high output burner is 17k BTU which rivals some of the pro-style sealed burner ranges. Plus they have the baking drawer under the main oven --score! Now, I'm not trying to slam the GE Profile models that you listed, they are nice too (and have good burners), but I REALLY like the look of the Cafe.

In terms of your Bosch dishwasher (great choice), the stainless won't match, but it won't be an entirely difference shade. That being said, color is pretty subjective so if you have an opportunity to visit a showroom that displays the cafe, compare it to the stainless on a bosch and decide for yourself.

Stainless cooktop versus glass cooktop:

It's a look thing and a clean-a-bility thing. Some people think that stainless is a bit harder to clean up and feel that glass is easier to work with. I, for one, choose to use the "tv method" of cleaning which works for either stainless OR glass.

The TV Method:
If you have some tomato sauce that ends up baking onto the cooking surface, squirt some cleaner on the stain, go watch tv, come back thirty minutes later and that stain is SUPER easy to wipe up. No "elbow" grease needed!

The Cafe ranges are both in the same class, but one is a newer model that was just released (985SET) is the new one. It has a 20,000 BTU burner that can turn down to a 140o simmer. All burners are capable of simmer. New black oven interior with dual halogen lighting, convection oven, one very smooth oven rack (glides on berrings) and is safe to self clean. They also build on that has an electric oven and a gas top. Baking drawer and a griddle. lots of extras and a very nice appearance.
