Help me pick a free standing refrigerator !

I need to replace my 26 sf. SxS fridge - looking for a free standing, standard depth, stainless steel that is quiet, efficient and reliable. I think I need water and ice in the door, but maybe that's because I have always had it there.

I am tempted by some of the attractive new brands but afraid that they do not have a track record. (Electrolux, Samsung). Looked at Whirlpool Gold today, but came home and read reviews about the water dispenser dripping endlessly...

I am open to consider a FD as well, if you love yours.

I will be pairing it with a Monogram ZET2 wall oven and a Bosch DW.

Please tell me about your experience and advise !!

We are on our second Maytag S x S refrig. This one is stainless steel. It's three plus years old with no problems and works very well. It has the water and ice dispenser in the door and it does not leak!

Our first Maytag was a dent & ding s x s in white. When we sold the houe 3 plus years ago it was on its 15th year with no repairs at all.

So, the reports may say one thing but our experience is that the Maytags are just fine.

Thanks, I will look at them.

Thinking I should consider a FD also with the water inside the door. Any good standard depth that will fit in my spot?

How freestanding is your spot? We went with KA as it was one of the few with SS sides. I just couldn't get over the ugliness of the the black or grey exposed sides.
