I'm completely gutting the kitchen and starting over, but can't decide on a kitchen window. I'm putting in a large 6' x 3' over the sink and would love a large clear awning window. All the other windows in the house are original double hung wood windows with grills - that will eventually be replaced. (I'm hoping with new double hungs with grills above and clear below. Am I killing the character of the house by adding an awning window? It is not street facing. (Window on left to be replaced in construction pic.) Thanks!
