Please help with hood selection

Ventilation is something that has taken me a while to understand. We are trying to find a 36" stainless pro style hood 18" high that will

a) allow us to use a 3 1/4"x10" duct

b) gives us the option of a vent in the back rather than the top

c) is relatively quiet.

We would prefer to spend between $900-$1500. We are still deciding on a rangetop but based on price are looking at the bertazzoni 5 or 6 burner ( C36500X /C36600X)at 42.5k btu and 49k btu or the dacor millennia DRT366SNG at 85k btu. I have also looked at the Electrolux E36GC75GSS at 77.5k btu. We don't anticipate having more than 3-4 burners on at once so I am not sure if 600 cfm would be adequate with all of there.

The hood will have to be vented with a duct running 6 ft down the wall between the studs and 9 feet through the crawl space before it exits to the outside. We can do an internal or an inline blower (inline would be in the crawl space under the kitchen floor). I would prefer baffle filters.

I have looked online and found the following:

Broan elite E6036SS with 600 cfm internal blower (I have heard the noise level on these can be really high)

Faber Pro Magnum 6059891 with 600 cfm internal blower

Zephyr Tempest II AK7536ASX with 600 cfm internal blower

Kobe CH7736SQB 800 cfm internal blower with only 4.5 sones on high looks great other then fact that it's only 10" tall - it seems that none of the 18" models will allow for a 3 1/4 x 10 duct.

Can we use an inline blower with these and could it be of a different brand? I have read good things about the Fantech FKD 8XL inline blower and the optional LD 8 silencer however that requires an 8" duct and I wasn't sure I am supposed to transition from the 3 1/4 x 10 to the 8" round. Any of the ventilation experts that can help me figure this out?

Any other hood recommendations for us? Thanks in advance!
