We are putting in a thermador pop-up downdraft, and I can't seem to find a lot of touchy-feely info on the benefits of an integral blower vs. a remote blower.

From what I understand, remote isn't a ton quieter, and involves more work done to the outside of the house, but internal takes up all the cabinet space below the cooktop. I was wondering if anyone had made this choice or had any opinions.
