Hi, Have you heard of a product called Krack Kote or it's exterior product called Tough Kote? It is a compound that is used with a fiberglass mesh and it makes a terrible wall or ceiling perfect. One of its advantages is that it never cracks like plaster or spackle because of some additive which always keeps it flexible under the surface.I was determined to have a perfect ceiling as I wanted to be able to illuminate the perimenter and it would show every irregularity. I did this over a 16 x 21 room. It has been 8 months and it looks perfect.I purchased it through a PPG paint store but it can also be purchased on line from a location in Illinois.It is fantastic stuff and was at one time recommended on This Old House.
