bathroom vent wiring

i removed old vent/fan/light. it had quit working. new fan has 4 wires(2 white, 1 blue. 1 black). i have several coming out of the ceiling. i have a 2 wire and a 3 wire coming down from the ceiling. the vanity light and vent light come on together with 1 switch. the vent and vent light come on with another switch.(prior to old vent being removed.) i have an extra white and extra black wire when i attempt to reconnect as instructions explain. any suggestions. i have connected many fans.lights, etc. never any problems..at a loss now..
