My mother and I both have COCO bidet seats on our Toto toilets and we love them!

We just got Brondell Swash 1000's for our dual-remodels. We love them- but I don't have a lot of experience with others (did a lot of research though) They aren't cheap (599?) but once you have one, you definitely aren't going back!

I got my at Costco- something to think about- they take anything back for any reason at any time.

INAX, a Japanese company, invented the "bidet seat" category in Japan. Toto and INAX, both Japanese companies, developed and perfected the technology and refined and perfected the product. In Japan, super major companies like Matsushita (Panasonic) and Toshiba and Hitachi have attempted with essentially unlimited resources to break into the market, which remains today the world's biggest market for products of that kind. To the Japanese, well familiar with Matsushita and Toshiba and Hitachi, those brands seem like outsiders for the advanced toilet seat product category, and the Japanese trust only INAX and Toto; other brands struggle.

Latecomers from Korea, China, and who knows where else, now are trying to get into the game with me-too products, and in the United States, their attempts to enter the market are sold under brand names like COCO and Brondell. How did your 1980s Xonix stereo components work out for you? Will anyone recognize a COCO or a Brondell brand product five years from now?

Perhaps they will.

But for our own home, we bought INAX.
