Which DCS range are you looking for? I just did a 30-second google search, and see a 36" all gas DCS range with 6 burners, the RGU-366-N, for $4889 at 6 stores.

If you can't find a retailer in your area to sell this range at the prices being offered online, buy the range online. The warranty is provided by the manufacturer anyway. And since you are building a home, you don't need a retail store for installation either. Buy it online, and have your contractor install with the rest of your kitchen appliances.

Thanks for your effort on the websites but that's the old model RGU which is recently discontinued. The new model RGV appears to only have revised handle and toe kick but is $600 more.

Well heck if those are the only changes, if it were me, I'd get the "old" model. Have you called the DCS customer service number to verify with them if there are any other differences?

I have not spoken to company, just salesmen in my area and Curtos video. Specifications are unchanged. I like the look of the new one better and my local dealer said the old were discontinued

esetter, it sounds like your mind is made up. I took advantage of the cosmetic changes and saved a significant amount by purchasing one with the old toe kick/handle.
