Doughmakers-any one else have this problem?

I paid $18 for a Doughmakers cake pan and since it was so pricey I only bought one. I made a cake today and used the one Doughmakers pan and the other cake pan I used was a cheap Comet cake pan. Well, the cake in the Doughmakers pan came out all lopsided. The cake in the Comet pan came out perfect. I am shocked. I thought Doughmakers would be better.
