I have some and the stuff is great. The exterior is either hard, polished anodized aluminum or stainless steel. It has a thick aluminum core and a mirror finish on the stainless steel interior cooking surface. Most of the aluminum cookware I use is Kitchenaid Hi-Density, All-Clad, and Calphalon One. They are each top quality cookware with their own individual aesthetic appeal. How good is it? KitchenAid Hi-Density cookware is top-notch stuff. Can it replace Le Crueset enamel cast iron pots? I like it better.

So are you saying that this stuff is better than cast iron enamel? Does it clean easily ? Can you put this in the dishwasher ?

I'm saying that I like it better. It heats faster and cools quicker than enamel coated cast iron, or regular cast iron for that matter. Aluminum is a much, much better heat conductor than cast iron If you use it properly (e.g. preheat the pan, etc.) then it cleans up very easily. You may have to use a little Barkeepers Friend every now and then but that's easy. The cookware with the stainless steel exterior is dishwasher safe but I wouldn't put the aluminum exterior stuff in the dishwasher.

Grab that piece up. I have a Dutch oven and I absolutely love it! My favourite piece of cookware. Cleans easily, cooks beautifully. There is no way I would put it in the dishwasher - this is primo cookware.
