Well, based on the rave reviews on this forum and some other websites, I decided to order a set of Shun Classic knives (the 7-piece set seemed to be a good starter set with all the knives I use most). And I got it for a bargain at $335!!! They seem to be listed for $450 on most sites, so I hope there's nothing wrong with this set. I can't wait to try them out.
