New Viking refer problem.

To add to my long list of compaints about my 42" side-by-side Viking, it's been freezing all the vegetables in, or near, the produce drawer for quite a while. By the time I finally took the day off work to wait for a repairman, I had been putting up with it for 2 years. When he showed up, he brought a kit that Viking now makes and sells for $278 to correct the defect. He said it was some kind of baffle to limit cold air flow. It sure does that. I haven't been able to get the darn thing any colder than 50 degrees since it was "fixed". The refrigerator temp is set for the coldest possible, and it's now too warm. It seems to be running continuously, trying to meet the demand of the thermostat, if that's what controls temperature in these things. I am disgusted with Viking and all of their after market fixes for problems I shouldn't have in the first place. Anyone else been through this particular one? Thanks for listening, Gary
