I have some Circulon Induction stuff from BB&B. It ticks like crazy with my Cooktek. Its because the circulon is an aluminum pan with a slab of iron-in-stainless attached to the bottom. I like the AllClad, but there are others out there that are fine.

Thank you. Where did you get your All Clad and does it have non stick surfaces...those seem so much easier to clean?

I am using demeyere atlantis pans, cast iron, chantal, and le creuset. The Demeyere cleans up like a dream but is ridiculously overpriced. My old cast iron cleans up well. The chantal and le creuset are the most work to clean but not bad. I can hear a very faint tick with the le creuset, but I had never noticed it until I purposely put my ear to the cooktop to listen for this post. Typically I only hear the low hum on high, and occasionally the fan, nothing on low. I don't notice any difference with regards to noise when using the different pans.

I have a 36 Miele and the clicking is at 2 or 2.5. i do not think it is cookware related but I could be wrong. I think it is the simmer control on the Miele. Do not notice due to 2 or 2.5 is at the simmer level which I do not normally stand over.
